How to Enable AutoComplete in Internet Explorer



Auto Complete in Internet Explorer helps you quickly fill out web forms and addresses by suggesting entries you’ve typed before. This can save time and improve browsing efficiency.

Steps to Enable Auto Complete:

  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Click on the “Tools” menu (or press Alt + X on your keyboard)
  • Select “Internet Options”
  • Navigate to the “Content” tab
  • Under the AutoComplete section, click “Settings”
  • Check the following options:
  • Forms
  • User names and passwords on forms
  • Feeds (optional)
  • Click OK, then Apply to save your settings

Once enabled, Internet Explorer will remember your previously entered data and suggest it the next time you fill out a similar form or URL.
